About profession:

The master of urban planning differs from the bachelor in deeper skills of analytical and design work, goal-setting, as well as management activities.

A feature of the field of study "Master of Urban Planning" is the work with urban space at various large-scale, organizational and managerial levels: the development of urban planning documentation (territorial planning schemes, master plans for settlements, land use rules for real estate development, planning and surveying projects, urban planning plans of land plots) and its support in public authorities; examination of urban planning decisions, scientific activity in the field of urban planning - theoretical and applied research of settlement systems and urban structures.

The work of a master of urban planning in the field of practical activity differs from a bachelor in the possibility of making urban planning decisions, management functions (management of the project process) and the methodological immersion level in the urban planning problems.
